NGUNI has engaged in the community response to COVID 19 by not only explaining to its beneficiary households how to prevent it, but also by providing to those most in need soap, masks and teaching to build the tipping-taps.

 

The need for this engagement became pressing because the government decided to transform the local hospital into the reference clinic for COVID for the province. Misinformation and agitation begun so NGUNI had to step up and help curb the tendency for mod response to the COVID clinic in Maciene.
